As you may have noticed, I relocated from London to Bristol in mid 2021. 'Quest' was released shortly after that, but ever since then I've found it difficult to get back into the rhythm of writing music. This is why the three subscriber releases so far sound a bit all over the place I think. But this is what you signed up for, to hear things as they progress!

It's the new year and I finally feel settled into a new house and a new studio - 'Quintessence'. The final track presented here is something I have had knocking about for a couple of years, originally a remix for an EBM band that I never finished, but very far removed from that now. Track 4 is based on a chord sequence I must have in my head for over a decade but have always thought it a bit 'pop'. The others are recent sketches. I'm just trying to get material down at the moment and feel out where I might go next without repeating myself too much. (He says, as a man who writes repetitive sequence-based music.)
