Shane Dangers sometimes chill, sometimes jarring, these demo tracks are highly enjoyable, and it's nice when the artist details the "why/how" as MP does (immediately above lol).. like reading liner notes in an album. I too waded thru an era of industrial/gothic preferences, coinciding alongside the techno/rave/trance era.(30+ yrs ago!) MP obviously shares my interests

'Ephemera' is an archival collection of early and alternate versions, non-album tracks, experiments and demos. Think of these as the DVD special features for each album.

This collection is something of a 'note to self'. There are ideas here that I intended to follow up, but still haven't. I derailed my own intentions with a combination of the wizard disco idea and the desire to revisit and revise all existing work one final time.

There's something here that I never quite pinned down, a combination of folk music and folklore, hardware and software. It may well be that I only I hear what I'm talking about, but nevertheless, it is something I intend to return to soon.

During 2015-2016 I would create regular subscriber-only releases, entitled 'Parvum Opus'. These pieces are drawn from those short and experimental collections.
