about

'Ephemera' is an archival collection of early and alternate versions, non-album tracks, experiments and demos. Think of these as the DVD special features for each album.

Immediately after becoming a small part of the popular 'synthwave' scene online, I reacted against this by trying to return to the cosmic sound of the first album. I briefly started a side project under the name 'Cosmic Angst', before instead grouping the work from this period under an album by that name. Improvisation and experimentation were a bigger part of this work, and you can hear the original live recordings of both 'Arp of Pan' and 'Strata' here.

Some of this material bleeds into the 'Mytheme' album as well.
